Collections Associate

Job Summary

Providing essential support in a hybrid work environment, the full-time hourly Collections Associate will manage customer accounts by ensuring accurate billing, facilitating timely remittance, and addressing account integrity issues.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately bill customer accounts and follow up with payers to ensure uninterrupted cash flow
• Handle customer collection calls and resolve patient billing complaints
• Document activities in the ERP system and prepare clean claims for submission to various insurances

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of customer service or related experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance codes (HCPC/ICD-9)
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively
