Collections Associate

Job Summary

Managing early stage delinquent loan accounts, the full-time remote Collections Associate will provide professional and empathetic service to members, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and collect on assigned delinquent accounts while adhering to policies and procedures
• Contact delinquent members via phone, mail, and electronic communications to negotiate payment plans
• Maintain accurate records of all communications related to member accounts and follow up on payment arrangements

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience in collections or customer service
• Proven ability to handle difficult customer service situations professionally
• Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple software applications
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
