Collections Associate

Job Summary

To support essential healthcare services, the full-time remote Collections Associate will manage customer billing accounts, ensure timely payments, and resolve billing issues while maintaining accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately bill customer accounts and assure timely remittance
• Follow up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow
• Identify and resolve patient billing complaints and handle collection calls

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of customer service or related experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance codes (HCPC/ICD-9)
• Ability to evaluate and secure necessary medical justifications for claims
