Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections - Collector 2 to manage delinquent accounts and ensure timely collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and performs collection actions on various delinquent accounts while adhering to policies and applicable laws
• Conducts address verification, asset searches, and credit report reviews prior to recommending legal actions
• Assists with loan modifications and supports training of new department personnel

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of collection experience with real estate and secured/unsecured loans
• Strong knowledge of bankruptcy laws, foreclosures, and the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act
• Experience with loan modification processes and collateral liquidation
• Two-year college degree or equivalent related experience or specialized course of study
