Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections - Collector 2 to manage the timely collection of delinquent accounts remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform effective collection actions on delinquent accounts, including mortgage and late-stage loans, adhering to policies and regulations
• Conduct address verification, asset searches, and credit report reviews before recommending legal actions
• Assist in training new personnel and participate in continuous improvement activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of collection experience with real estate and secured/unsecured loans
• Strong background in bankruptcy laws, foreclosures, and the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act
• Working knowledge of loan modification processes and collateral liquidation
• Two-year college degree or equivalent related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
