Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections - Collector I to manage the collection of delinquent loans remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and work assigned delinquent accounts, contacting members by phone and mail to advise on debt repayment strategies
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all collection activities
• Conduct skip tracing to locate members and recommend actions such as repossession or deferments

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on collection experience with real estate, secured and unsecured loans
• Strong background in the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act
• Working knowledge of general collection practices
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
