Collections Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Collections Consultant to manage collections for multiple clients in a remote capacity, focusing on commercial claims follow-up, monitoring insurance contracts, and identifying payment discrepancies.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform collections for various clients while tracking trending issues such as denials and payment variances
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to identify payment errors and make follow-up calls to insurance companies
• Research account receivables for both Medicare and Non-Medicare collections, adapting to multiple systems daily

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial claims follow-up and collections
• High School Diploma required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
• Experience with multiple EMR systems and denials/rejections in Waystar
• Ability to work in an office setting for at least eight hours per day
