Collections Consultant

Job Summary

To support the Home Health or Hospice Project Collections Teams, the full-time Collections Consultant will manage collections for multiple clients, track trending issues, and review EOBs while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Handle collections for various clients and monitor claims based on insurance contracts
• Identify and correct claim errors in clearinghouse and EMR systems, and follow up on claims with insurance companies
• Research account receivables for both Medicare and Non-Medicare collections, tracking issues like denials and payment variances

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial claims follow-up and collections
• High School Diploma required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
• Experience with multiple EMR systems and handling denials/rejections in Waystar
• Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and follow directions in English
