Collections Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time remote Collections Manager will oversee daily collections operations, manage delinquent accounts, and ensure compliance with regulations while fostering member engagement and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the collections team to ensure timely resolution of delinquent accounts and enforce collections policies
• Recruit, train, and supervise collections staff, conducting performance reviews and team meetings to enhance effectiveness
• Act as an escalation point for complex member accounts, negotiating repayment plans and providing financial guidance to members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of related experience in collections or financial services
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a team setting
• Knowledge of CFPB, FDCPA, and related laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
