Collections Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of collections analysts, the full-time Collections Manager will be responsible for achieving recovery and exposure-reduction targets, coaching team members, and managing daily operations while adapting to new tools and processes in a remote-eligible environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own daily performance metrics for the collections team, including recovery outcomes and quality assurance
• Run team operations, including case assignment, performance reviews, and coaching documentation
• Lead hiring and development initiatives, ensuring team alignment with department objectives during periods of change

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years in collections, recovery, or credit risk operations, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Proven track record of leading teams to meet measurable performance targets
• Experience in hiring, onboarding, and developing junior and mid-level team members
• Familiarity with collections compliance requirements and quality assurance practices
• Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools, with a willingness to adopt AI technologies
