Collections Manager

Job Summary

Owning the full collections and accounts receivable lifecycle, the remote Collections Manager will lead a team to recover outstanding balances, set strategic goals, and enhance operational efficiency through data analysis and AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end collections process and develop strategies for customer and merchant segments
• Lead and mentor a team, tracking key performance indicators such as aging and recovery rates
• Analyze delinquency trends to improve forecasting and cash flow while ensuring compliance with financial controls

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related fintech/accounting roles
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring a team
• Strong understanding of collections processes and financial compliance standards (SOC 1, SOX preferred)
• Hands-on experience with CRM or ERP systems like Salesforce and Workday
• Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows and enhance decision-making
