Collections Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Yield Management team, the full-time Recovery Resolution Specialist (Collections) will facilitate the collection of funds, maintain provider relations, and engage in communication with providers, audit staff, and clients while working to resolve claim disputes and meet productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares and sends collection letters to providers in accordance with established policies
• Follows up on outstanding claims by contacting providers to verify receipt and status
• Investigates claim disputes and escalates issues while documenting activities in the required systems

Required qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent education
• 1 to 3 years of prior collections or customer service experience
• Preferred billing or coding experience
• Required knowledge of Microsoft applications
