Collections Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance provider relations and facilitate fund collection, the full-time Recovery Resolution Specialist (Collections) will prepare collection letters, follow up on outstanding claims, and investigate claim disputes while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares and sends collection letters to providers in accordance with policy
• Follows up on outstanding claims by contacting providers to verify receipt and obtain status updates
• Investigates claim disputes and escalates issues as necessary, providing accurate information and documentation

Required qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent education
• 1 to 3 years of prior collections or customer service experience
• Preferred experience in billing or coding
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills
