Collections Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Collections Representative will manage delinquent loan accounts, correspond with members to obtain payments, and utilize various resources to mitigate losses while maintaining member satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collect delinquent loan accounts and document all collection activities in Temenos
• Contact members through multiple channels to identify reasons for delinquency and negotiate repayment plans
• Alert management of unusual occurrences and recommend accounts for repossession as per policy

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a collections/accounts receivable role
• Familiarity with collections platform software, preferably AKUVO or Temenos
• Basic knowledge of collections laws is preferred
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking is preferred, but not required
