Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform collecting, reconciliation, research, and correspondence related to accounts
• Reconcile complex accounts and submit appeal letters on underpaid claims
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and internal clients while resolving billing and payment issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• 1+ years of hospital/facility collections experience, including follow-up and appeals
• 1+ years of experience with Medicare and Medi-Cal claims
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
