Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Representative to manage billing and collections tasks remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform collections, reconciliation, research, and correspondence related to accounts
• Review and interpret payer contracts, EOBs, and UB 04 claim forms to ensure accurate payment and adjustments
• Provide customer service to patients and collaborate with hospital departments to resolve billing issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• 1+ years of hospital/facility collections experience, including follow-up and appeals
• 1+ years of recent experience with Medicaid or Medi-Cal Managed Care plans
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
