Collections Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Collections Representative will contact insurance providers to resolve payment issues, negotiate overdue claims, and manage billing inquiries during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Contact insurance providers to determine reasons for payment delinquency and resolve claim issues
• Negotiate and advise on the collection of overdue claims and take appropriate actions to recover payments
• Adhere to Accounts Receivable and collection practices, policies, and procedures

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of experience in hospital/facility collections
• 1+ years of experience in commercial claim and Medicare collections
• Experience working with insurance companies to verify denied claims
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
