Collections Representative

Job Summary

Resolving outstanding payer balances, the full-time remote Collections Representative will manage payer denials, appeal claims, and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations while working Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and recommend process improvements
• Resolve assigned accounts promptly to maximize reimbursement in compliance with payer regulations
• Maintain knowledge of payer policies and ensure timely escalation of aging accounts

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of healthcare back-end revenue cycle experience (billing, collections, or A/R)
• Experience working with denied healthcare claims and insurance companies
• Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday during normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST
• Must be 18 years of age or older
