Collections Representative

Job Summary

Supporting the financial well-being of patients, the full-time Collections Representative will manage claims resolution, conduct research on denied claims, and ensure compliance with departmental procedures while working remotely from San Juan, PR.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and research insurance follow-up and denied claims using multiple systems
• Prioritize aged accounts and collaborate with leadership for action on specific accounts
• Communicate with patients and internal departments to resolve claims issues and trends

Required qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in collections, billing, or healthcare claims
• Proficiency in Microsoft Tools including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during standard business hours, with potential for overtime
• Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (bilingual)
• Solid computer skills, including keyboard and navigation abilities
