Collections Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Collections Representative will manage escalated facility insurance claims, negotiate payments, and resolve outstanding medical bill accounts while adhering to business hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM MST.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle escalated and complex facility insurance claims to provide resolution and settlement
• Contact insurance companies via various methods to negotiate payment and resolve outstanding accounts
• Prepare and submit reports to internal management for escalation of outstanding medical bills

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of hospital/facility follow-up collections experience
• 1+ years of experience managing hospital/facility appeals and denied claims
• Experience reviewing and reading UB-04 claim forms
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
