Collections Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Collections Representative will manage payment processing, account reconciliation, and customer service duties to ensure accurate billing and collections for healthcare services.

Key responsibilities:

• Process payments, adjustments, claims, and correspondence accurately while meeting productivity goals
• Coordinate with staff and physician offices to ensure correct processing and resolve billing issues
• Research and appeal denied claims, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of hospital collections experience
• 1+ years of appeals and denied claims experience for a hospital/facility
• Experience navigating insurance portals to resolve denied claims
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
