Collections Representative
Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Collections Representative will manage customer accounts to resolve past-due payments using ethical recovery strategies and negotiation skills while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to discuss and resolve customer accounts
- Utilize contact center technology to locate and communicate with customers regarding payment options
- Negotiate payment arrangements with empathy and professionalism while meeting performance goals
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a contact center, customer service, technical support, or sales is required
- Ability to type accurately at 20+ words per minute
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of the Windows operating system
