Collections Representative
Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Collections Representative will engage with customers to resolve past-due accounts, utilizing ethical recovery strategies and negotiation skills to secure timely payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to discuss and resolve customer accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements with empathy and professionalism while following ethical recovery practices
- Meet monthly performance and recovery goals while maintaining positive customer relationships
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a contact center or customer service role is required
- Ability to type accurately at 20+ words per minute
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of the Windows operating system
