Collections Representative

Job Summary

Resolving outstanding payer balances, the full-time Collections Representative will work remotely to manage payer denials, appeal claims, and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations while participating in team meetings and collaborating with peers.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve assigned accounts in a timely manner to maximize reimbursement in compliance with payer regulations
• Participate in team huddles to share knowledge and recommend process improvements
• Request relevant information from revenue cycle and clinical departments as needed by the payer

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of healthcare back-end revenue cycle experience (billing, collections, or A/R)
• Experience working with denied healthcare claims and insurance companies
• Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday, during normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST
• Must be 18 years of age or older
