Collections Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Collections Representative will manage inbound and outbound calls with customers who are delinquent on payments, assist in setting up repayment arrangements, and utilize soft-collection skills to resolve issues effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls to assist customers 30-120+ days delinquent with their loans
• Utilize skip tracing methods to locate delinquent customers and prepare correspondence via email and text
• Maintain clear and concise account notes while meeting collection quality and quantity goals independently

Required qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of collections experience
• Availability to work between 8am-8pm CST, including two late nights and up to two Saturdays per month
• Excellent phone etiquette and typing skills, with the ability to remain calm in difficult situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook; experience with CRM programs is a plus
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions effectively in a challenging environment
