Collections Representative

Job Summary

Working in a hybrid schedule with 2 in-office days and 3 work-from-home days, the full-time Collections Representative will manage high-volume calls from patients and third-party agents, resolve billing issues, and collect outstanding balances while adhering to customer service standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer and manage calls in a high-volume call center environment, maintaining professionalism during financial discussions
• Investigate and resolve billing problems, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances from patients and insurers
• Initiate contact with patients for payment arrangements, process payments, and handle billing inquiries and disputes

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years of experience with third-party billing practices
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to work full-time with flexibility in scheduling during normal business hours
