Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, the full-time remote Collections Specialist will contact customers with overdue accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve disputes while maintaining accurate records and analyzing account data.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers to remind them of overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements
• Resolve disputes related to outstanding balances by collaborating with customers and other departments
• Analyze account data to identify trends and develop collections strategies aligned with financial goals

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of collections laws and regulations
• Proven experience in customer service and negotiation
• Ability to analyze data and develop effective collections strategies
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with collection software and CRM systems
