Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor customer account details for payment irregularities and contact customers to negotiate payment arrangements
• Educate customers on account terms and maintain accurate customer account information
• Adhere to FDCPA guidelines and record all transactions within the collections system

Required Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of installment loans and customer protection laws
• Basic understanding of loan origination documentation preferred
• PC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)
• Previous collections experience
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
