Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payments and record amounts received to customer accounts
• Identify and track overdue accounts
• Communicate with customers to understand reasons for overdue payments and review terms of agreements

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of federal, state, and company policies related to collections
• Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Word and relevant collections software
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience in customer service and negotiation
• Capacity to accurately document and record customer information
