Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist to manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor overdue customer accounts and resolve outstanding invoices
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and account statuses
• Investigate billing discrepancies and collaborate with internal departments

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software is highly desirable
• Knowledge of collection processes, including both commercial and consumer collections
