Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist responsible for managing patient accounts and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact patients for payments on outstanding balances
• Process account adjustments and establish payment plans
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• 1+ years of experience in collections or customer service
• Preferred experience in receivable accounts, medical billing, or healthcare administration
• Familiarity with CRM and phone systems, such as Salesforce and Five9, is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
