Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collector to manage delinquent accounts and arrange repayment schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect payments on assigned delinquent accounts through customer contact
• Review documentation and arrange repayment schedules to minimize organizational loss
• Utilize telephone and written correspondence to communicate with customers/clients

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two to three years of experience in collections and/or customer service activities
• Good knowledge of loan collection policies, fair debt collection practices, and related laws
• Strong customer service/relations skills
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and organize information
