Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist responsible for managing delinquent mortgage accounts through customer outreach and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inbound and outbound collection calls across all stages of delinquency
• Research, identify, and resolve issues contributing to customer delinquency
• Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining regulatory and policy compliance

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of collections procedures and industry best practices
• Strong knowledge of state and federal Fair Debt Collection laws
• Working knowledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and bankruptcy procedures
• High school diploma or GED is required
