Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time remote Collections Specialist will manage client accounts by addressing inquiries, improving collections through effective communication, and maintaining accurate records while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with account resolution by communicating account information, offering solutions, and establishing payment arrangements
• Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining clear documentation of all interactions
• Encourage payment in full on accounts and schedule partial payment plans as necessary

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center environment focused on customer service, billing, or collections
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong negotiation and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and assess customer needs
