Job Summary

Managing mid- to late-stage delinquent consumer accounts, the remote Collections Specialist will resolve past-due balances through borrower communication, negotiate payment arrangements, and conduct skip tracing to support account rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage delinquent accounts via phone, email, and SMS while adhering to policies and regulations
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and resolution strategies to reduce delinquency and prevent charge-offs
  • Conduct skip tracing to re-establish contact with borrowers and maintain accurate account documentation
Required qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of consumer collections experience, preferably with personal loans or consumer debt
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or regulated lending environments
  • Working knowledge of collection-related regulations, including the FDCPA and Regulation F
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive borrower conversations with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong documentation habits and attention to detail within servicing systems
