Job Summary
Supporting the Corporate Headquarters remotely, the full-time Collections Specialist I will manage collection calls and correspondence, engage in detailed customer conversations, and navigate multiple technologies while focusing on achieving departmental goals.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of outgoing collection calls to assigned delinquent customers and resolve incoming inquiries effectively
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with branch personnel and co-workers while reconciling customer disputes
- Meet portfolio, departmental, and company goals through effective communication and negotiation skills
Required qualifications
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a relevant field
- At least 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting
- Strong foundation in spreadsheets, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
