Job Summary
Supporting the Corporate Headquarters remotely, the full-time Collections Specialist I will manage collection calls and correspondence, navigate multiple technologies to engage with customers, and reconcile disputes while striving to meet departmental goals.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of outgoing collection calls to assigned delinquent customers and manage incoming inquiries effectively
- Communicate and follow up with customers and branch personnel in a timely manner to resolve questions and disputes
- Demonstrate strong customer focus and negotiation skills while working independently and as part of a team
Required qualifications
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a relevant field
- At least 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting
- Strong foundation in spreadsheets, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Ability to communicate effectively with the Finance team
- Proven ability to work in a metrics-driven environment
