Job Summary
Supporting the Corporate Headquarters remotely, the full-time Collections Specialist I will manage collection calls and correspondence, navigate multiple technologies, and maintain effective communication with customers and branch personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of outgoing and incoming calls to resolve customer questions and disputes
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with branch personnel and co-workers
- Meet portfolio, departmental, and company goals in a metrics-driven environment
Required qualifications
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a relevant field
- At least 2+ years of experience in finance/accounting
- Strong foundation in spreadsheets, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Ability to communicate effectively with the Finance team
- Demonstrated negotiation and decision-making skills
