Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Collections Specialist will perform collection activities, including inbound and outbound calls, while providing exceptional customer service and resolving account discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inbound and outbound collection calls across all stages of delinquency
• Research and resolve issues contributing to customer delinquency while maintaining accurate records of interactions
• Review accounts for compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, analyzing borrower financials for payment arrangements

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of mortgage service and high volume collections experience
• Knowledge of collections procedures and Fair Debt Collection Laws
• Call center experience preferred
• Goal-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
