Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Collections Specialist, the ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting consumers about outstanding insurance premiums, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Contact consumers via phone, email, and mail regarding past-due accounts
• Negotiate payment plans in accordance with company policies
• Document all communications and account updates accurately

Required qualifications:

• Previous collections or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to remain professional and empathetic during challenging conversations
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not mandatory
