Collections Specialist
Job Summary
Maximizing cash inflow, the full-time remote Collections Specialist will own the collection process for customer accounts, conduct high-volume outreach to past-due clients, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely collection of all outstanding balances
- Conduct high-volume outbound collection calls and emails to notify customers of past-due balances and encourage prompt payment
- Monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts and recommend practical resolution options based on customer payment history
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of collections experience within an MSP, SaaS, IT services, telecommunications, or recurring revenue environment
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as NetSuite
- Experience with MSP software, like ConnectWise
- Proficiency in Microsoft platforms, including Excel, Word, and Teams
