Collections Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Collections Specialist will contact customers with past-due accounts to secure payments and resolve outstanding balances while maintaining positive customer relationships and meeting performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate payments and secure resolutions for outstanding balances
- Document all account activity accurately in the company's systems
- Make 110+ outbound and/or inbound calls daily to discuss past due accounts
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 - 2 years of experience in collections and/or sales
- Advanced computer skills and experience with CRM or collections software
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment
- Ability to remain professional and empathetic during difficult conversations
