Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Working in a hybrid environment, the full-time Collections Specialist will monitor customer accounts, facilitate timely payments, and assist with loan modifications while ensuring accurate account maintenance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors and contacts customers with outstanding debts to encourage timely payments
• Processes payments and assists customers with setting up payment options and addressing account inquiries
• Updates account information within the core system and reports on collection activities

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service or call center experience is required
• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques preferred
• Experience in financial services, lending, or payments is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills preferred
