Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of consumer loan accounts, the full-time Collections Specialist will engage directly with borrowers to resolve delinquent balances through proactive outreach, negotiation of repayment solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume inbound and outbound communication with borrowers to address delinquent accounts
• Negotiate repayment plans and settlements while providing clear information regarding loan obligations
• Maintain accurate documentation of borrower interactions and ensure compliance with debt collection regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in collections, customer service, or financial services preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Experience with loan servicing or collections systems preferred
• Ability to work effectively in sensitive financial situations with professionalism and empathy
