Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Collections Specialist will manage delinquent customer accounts by contacting clients, coordinating repayment plans, and collaborating with third-party agencies to resolve outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact delinquent customers via calls, emails, and texts to resolve payment issues
• Document all communications and follow-ups, ensuring accurate account status updates
• Negotiate and process payment plans while managing a portfolio of over fifty accounts daily

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree or equivalent work experience considered
• 5+ years of collections experience, ideally in commercial or consumer lending
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Resourceful with a proven ability to gather information and solve problems
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
