Collections Specialist Remote
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Part-Time Collections Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound collection calls and respond to inbound calls from members
- Assist members with payment issues and find solutions to create positive member experiences
- Locate and contact delinquent members through various channels to solicit payments and educate about loan products
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of related experience in financial institutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SQL and Tableau is a plus
- Knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, mortgage servicing operations, and consumer credit laws
- Multi-state loan servicing experience preferred
