Job Summary
Managing delinquent accounts, the full-time Collections Support Recovery Agent will communicate with customers to negotiate payments, apply industry knowledge to collection decisions, and utilize various systems for effective skip tracing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate payments and resolve account balances
- Utilize multiple systems and tools to perform skip tracing and reach decision makers in the collections process
- Engage in ongoing education with customers regarding terms, conditions, and alternative payment methods
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma with 1-2 years of experience in a related field
- At least one year of customer support experience in the transportation industry
- Basic knowledge of accounting and skip tracing
- Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other applicable federal laws
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Google Sheets and Office suite products
