Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of moderately complex past-due business accounts, the full-time Collections Support Specialist will utilize standard collection techniques to resolve account delinquency and secure cash flow while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage daily communication with delinquent commercial customers to cure past-due debt and secure payments
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and document customer interactions accurately within the collections system
  • Identify and route billing errors or disputes to appropriate internal departments while adhering to compliance standards
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience in B2B or commercial collections
  • Foundational understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) or similar compliance frameworks
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage client interactions
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation
