Collections Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Team Lead to manage client relations and oversee collection activities in the mortgage or real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage call overflow and client relations follow-up while adhering to guidelines to prevent foreclosure
• Assist with team meetings and respond to agent inquiries while monitoring call quality
• Handle escalated calls and review documentation for loss mitigation and cash posting instructions

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of experience in collections, loss mitigation, or mortgage/real estate preferred
• 2 years of telephonic customer contact experience preferred
• Knowledge of federal regulations and the Fair Debt Collection Protection Act
• Ability to learn collection methods and use a dialer system for calls
