Collections Team Lead

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end collections process, the full-time remote Collections Team Lead will manage past-due receivable collections, drive bad debt recovery outcomes, and lead a team while collaborating with vendors and cross-functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive collection success by setting and enforcing service-level agreements and managing the performance of the collections team and vendors against defined KPIs
• Oversee the collection assignment process, prioritizing efforts based on risk and ensuring compliance with debt-collection regulations
• Lead team development, manage performance, and implement process improvements to optimize collections operations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of team leadership or people management experience required
• 2+ years of vendor management experience required
• 1+ year of experience managing BPO or offshore teams preferred
• Working knowledge of debt-collection regulations such as the FDCPA and Regulation F required
